These wax and wick sticks are a more modern take on the originals with the wax being flexible. They provide a more authentic experience and do not require anything other than a lighter.

Perfect for a go slow approach or for doing one seal at a time they are beautifully handcrafted by 7th generation wax makers - absolute masters of their craft.

Wax & Wick Directions

To minimise soot in the wax hold the stick just up from straight horizontal.  When you first light the wick it will mostly burn away quite quickly - that is what it is supposed to do and you don't need to tilt the wax stick to keep it going.  The flame will be very small and will melt the wax sufficiently, but without soot.
