Sydney has to be Australia's most beautiful city. Combined with an great coffee culture and a solid arts scene with some of the most beautiful performance spaces in the country, it's become home (again) for us.

Our Sydney string quartet are members of the Opera Australia Orchestra, Sydney Symphony Orchestra, the Australian Chamber Orchestra, and many are regular session musicians at established film and television studios like Trackdown studios.

Sydney is home to so many stunning venues and locations. It's always a treat for us to perform while taking in the scenery.

Additional Info / FAQ
• Minimum 1 hour booking
• Additional travel fees apply for travel 1 hour or more from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Adelaide, Perth and Hobart at a rate of $90 / musician / hour of travel.
• Armless chairs are required for all performing musicians.
• Performing in direct sunlight or rain may damage instruments - please ensure shade is available, and a wet weather plan in the event of rain.

Song requests & special arrangements
We have one of Australia’s largest music libraries, but there are millions of songs waiting to be arranged for string quartet. If your special song isn’t on our list, we will try to source it at no extra cost. If a suitable string arrangement is not available for purchase we can write an original string quartet arrangement for you. The $250 fee includes writing the song for strings and a recording which we will send you as a memento in the weeks leading up to your wedding.

Overtime
Sanctuary String Quartet contracts freelance musicians. As a result it is important that timeframes are adhered to. In the event that an event runs overtime, the musician has the right to leave when the scheduled booking expires.
