Brisbane will always be a special place for Sanctuary String Quartet - after all it is the city where we began our journey. Since 2007 we've helped hundreds of people celebrate all of life's milestones. 

Our Brisbane string quartet is made up of some of our closest friends who also happen to be some of Australia's finest musicians. Many of them perform with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra, Camerata - Queensland's Chamber Orchestra, the Queensland Pops Orchestra and our own commercial orchestra, The Australian Session orchestra.

Additional Info / FAQ

• Minimum 1 hour booking
• Additional travel fees apply for travel 1 hour or more from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Adelaide, Perth and Hobart at a rate of $90 / musician / hour of travel. 
• Can travel to Sunshine Coast
• Armless chairs are required for all performing musicians.
• Performing in direct sunlight or rain may damage instruments - please ensure shade is available, and a wet weather plan in the event of rain.

Song requests & special arrangements

We have one of Australia’s largest music libraries, but there are millions of songs waiting to be arranged for string quartet. If your special song isn’t on our list, we will try to source it at no extra cost. If a suitable string arrangement is not available for purchase we can write an original string quartet arrangement for you. The $250 fee includes writing the song for strings and a recording which we will send you as a memento in the weeks leading up to your wedding.

Overtime

Sanctuary String Quartet contracts freelance musicians. As a result it is important that timeframes are adhered to. In the event that an event runs overtime, the musician has the right to leave when the scheduled booking expires.
