Ostrich Feathers

2022 is the year of the Ostrich Feather. Feather trimmed Pyjamas for Bridal Prep looks, Feather Hens looks, Feather shrugs for winter wedding looks. 

Rust & Melon 

We are picking Rust and Melon as the wedding colours for 2022. We are loving a rust bridesmaid look. We will also see a continuation of the bright springtime colour palettes and bold bright florals.

The Sequel Wedding

2021 saw many couples elope, 2022 will offer these couples the opportunity to celebrate their vows with their friends and family. The sequel wedding will see more party like celebrations, less formal and more fun! 

Scalloped Edges 

The Scalloped edge began having its moment last year and we can expect to see it even more in 2022. Find scalloped edges on stationery, decor such as umbrellas and napkins. 

 Outdoor Weddings 

Another trend born from the want to protect loved ones from Covid is the move towards holding as much of the day outdoors as possible.

Pre-Wedding Iso & Testing

Covid numbers are increasing as we begin to live with Covid. Although wedding restrictions are decreasing more and more, the risk of getting Covid before your big day has increased. Considering this we will see Couples, their families and their Bridal parties taking a pre-wedding isolation - working from home, avoiding large gatherings and locations with a large number of people in an effort to avoid impacting the wedding by catching covid. 

Living with Covid will also see couples taking steps to protect their loved ones by asking their guests to take a Rapid Antigen test the morning of their wedding.
