The suppliers you choose to help you create and execute your big day can really make or break your experience. It’s for this reason that finding great vendors and validating them is such an important step to wedding planning.

1. Referrals  Referrals are a great place to start when looking to validate your wedding vendors. Personal referrals from friends and family are great but we also recommend asking your venue for their preferred suppliers list. These vendors will likely know what can't and cant be achieved within your venue's rules and will know some insider tips and tricks. Asking the vendors you have already booked for their recommendations is also a great way to find amazing vendors. The wedding industry is so collaborative and we all LOVE working together and supporting one another, so ask the vendors that you have already confirmed who they love to work and create with. 

2. Social Media  Weddings are so visual and the wedding industry is so wonderfully creative. Instagram and Pinterest are really wonderful resources for not only inspo but finding vendors who are creating weddings that have the same style and vibe that you are looking for.  Many newer, smaller, wonderful vendors will often be across social media before they even have their websites up and running, making it a great place to find new fresh talent! Our tip? Be sure to look at a vendors tagged images as well as their own profile. This can give you some really good insight to help you.

3. Testimonials and reviews  Whether you are finding your vendors through referrals, recommendations or social media it's really important to also look into vendor reviews or testimonials before booking. Google reviews are a great place to start as these are not controlled by the vendor themselves.
