Meet the Vendor - Rebekah Harp

Meet Rebekah Chandler, the founder and harpist of Rebekah Harp

NSW based harpist, Rebekah Chandler simply loves what she does. The inclusion of her harp at your wedding allows an elegant and romantic atmosphere for your guests.

Her business started through a nudge from her sister. Rebekah had been playing at family and friends weddings, at home to keep her children calm, mainly playing at low key events. Her sister then suggested that she start pitching for luxury events. That's when she sent her work through to Gucci and others, landing some incredible gigs.

What inspires Rebekah to create such a beautiful moment, is the ability to set the atmosphere at the beginning of the ceremony. But what she really loves is seeing the bride and groom’s faces on their wedding day and hearing their meaningful vows, which gets her every time. She says it’s an absolute honour to be a part of their sacred day.

Rebekah is all for loving love, with her favourite wedding trend being personalised vows from the deepest parts of the heart, and seeing the beautiful, raw, and emotional responses as they are shared. Her other favourite is guests in all white which she describes as magical.

When asked what her song request at a wedding is she said "Definitely ‘Kissing You’ by Des’ree from the soundtrack of the1996 film Romeo and Juliet starring with Leonardo DiCaprio and Clare Danes. I loved for that soundtrack as a teen, playing it on the harp still gives me chills”

Book in to have Rebekah play at your wedding, engagement party or any event.
