NSW based bridal accessories shop, run by the beautiful Leisa started during lockdown. With a newborn baby, a closed down business and the pandemic, Leisa had no idea when anything was going to change, meaning she was going to make the change herself. The company, named after her daughter Bette, was created to support women through sharing stories of womanhood. Leisa wanted to make pieces that made women “not only look good but feel good.” 

“When starting out, I leaned heavily for support from my gorgeous bunch of girlfriends here on the Tweed Coast and we made some amazing decisions together. The fit, the materials, the colours, all of it. It became a true labour of love I shared with family and friends and we launched our first product, our Bette Linen Kimono Robe in May, 2021. Bette Daze was created for the Better Days and we believe they're still coming in a big way! (Especially in the wedding industry.)”

For brides wearing a Bette Daze robe, Leisa wants the brides to feel their best selves. Beautiful but comfortable, luxurious but at home, pretty but classy. As well as being a garment they can wear and treasure long after their special day. When asked what inspired her the most, Leisa says “My friends & family for sure. I am lucky enough to be surrounded by a pretty phenomenal bunch of people. My parents (now retired) were so hard-working, I can always remember them working but they also never missed a concert, an awards night or sports game. They just got it done and tried to give my brothers and I the best life and they did. I'm so grateful that they have instilled that crazy work ethic in me. I'm not sure how else I would fit it all in but I wouldn't want it any other way.”

When asked for her favourite wedding trends she is loving right now, Leisa loves the idea of writing letter for your wedding favours, destination weddings, and doing a first look and photos before the ceremony.
